From the Hacienda to Hotel Costes, from Los Angeles to La Favela Chic, Ross has DJed and promoted all around the world for the past twenty years and produced and directed film and TV for the last eight. He makes Floripa and Shoreditch his home – a place where as a resident DJ he mixes bossabailesamba with drumnpopbasshiphop and film and dance oddities from the Charleston to Carioca Classics.

In its current incarnation, this weekly live jazz event has proved popular with DJs, musicians and the general public alike and with this move to Floripa the event is sure to develop even further. Our good friend and amazing producer Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Kesabian, The Bombay Bicycle Club) picked up a GRAMMY last night for his work on Adele’s LP 21. We particularly like the way he wanders on stage chewing gum nonchalntly mid way through Adele’s tears —
For us they created …”An abstract Macaw Parrot constructed from multi-coloured paper. Each feather is printed, cut and folded to shape. The frame of the 3m piece is inspired by the the original Da Vinci flying machines and hangs proudly above the bar in Floripa.”
