Floripa Food
Like a reverse of Gilberto Gil embracing Lennon and McCartney, our food is a fresh London variation on aged Brazilian traditions with taste and health at the forefront. Brazilian cuisine has always been a melting pot of influences from the Middle East, Africa, Portugal and the Amazon and our petiscos and salgados (just don't call them tapas!) reflect that.
They are freshly cooked every day with the finest market fresh ingredients hand picked by our chef David Yorkston (Bacchus, Langham Hotel) and his team – to reflect that we have a handwritten menu that will change with the days and seasons. Rest assured the staple signature dishes of Floripa and Brazil – hearty but lighter feijoada, our take on the afro-brazil fusion of Muququita, succulent locally sourced Hand of God style steaks, fresh grilled Lebanese-Rio Kibbe and light cheesy Pao De Queijo will always be available. For bigger groups we have a feasting menu and we're happy to cater to your needs and wants freeform style with a bit of notice.

Bebidas
On the bar we would like to think we make the best caipirinhas this side of Postonove but we'll let you be the judge of that – or come try our cachaca based cocktails – Gatinha, El Presidente de Brazil, Batida de Favela, Fada Verde plus a whole range of traditional cocktails including Mojitos and Martinis. If grapes are your thing we'd like to kill the myth of Brazilian wine – the Miolo vineyard range in our Sugarloaf cave match up with the best from around the world. And on the beer front we have Xingu, an unusual black beer from the rainforest that takes some beating plus more traditional fine Brazilian and Portugeuse lagers.
